The following courses are offered through the NATO School in Oberammergau, GE (http://www.natoschool.nato.int/ )

NATO Reserve Forces Integration Course

The Reserve Forces Integration Course (RFIC) instils in students an understanding of the various roles, missions and doctrines of Reserve Forces throughout the Alliance. Building on Military Committee ( MC ) policy, the course surveys how the Alliance integrates Reserve Forces in current operations. To do this, the course explores numerous national "best practices" in a comparative analysis framework. A wide range of topics, common to most Alliance and Partnership for Peace (PfP) nations, are surveyed.

NATO Senior NCO Orientation Course

The NATO Senior NCO Orientation Course aims to provide a foundation of knowledge of NATO including structure, policies and operations as well as current issues affecting the Alliance to newly appointed regular and reserve NATO/PfP non-commissioned officers or equivalent civilians. This is an excellent course for Sgt/PO2 to MWO/CPO2 who have no experience in a NATO/coalition environment. A solicitation message is sent from D Res 3 in advance of each serial, usually four times per year.

NATO Senior Reserve Officer's Course

The NATO Senior Reserve Officer's Course (SROC) aims to provide senior Reserve leaders with an understanding of NATO's Operational Planning Process, the future security environment and NATO expansion. Building on Military Committee ( MC ) policy, the course surveys how the Alliance operates today and is expected to operate and grow in the future.
